The place

Sleep. Eat. Ride. Repeat.

CasaCiclista is a charming stone house in L'Atzúbia, near Pego, in the north of the Costa Blanca. I set it up for people who come here to rest actively or to do a pre-season training camp. It is mainly for cyclists, but anyone who loves the mountains and the sea will feel at home.

From the guesthouse you ride straight out towards the Marina Alta passes or towards the sea, only 12 km away. Dénia, Calpe and the famous Coll de Rates climb are within reach of a single training ride.

  • Sleep

Five double rooms with bathrooms and air conditioning. Quiet, charming, just right for a proper reset.

  • Eat

A fully equipped kitchen with a dining room and proper coffee before you set off. You can order meals from me on request.

  • Ride

Mountain passes, empty roads among orange groves and the coast. I'm happy to suggest where to ride today.

  • Repeat

Comfortable sofas, a terrace, a living room and a bike workshop with a bike wash. In the morning you are ready for another day.

Grzegorz, the host of CasaCiclista

Your host

Hi, I'm Grzegorz

I'm Polish. After many years in the corporate world I decided it was time for a change, and the result is my guesthouse in a small town on the Costa Blanca. Cycling is one of my passions, probably the most important one, and it has been with me for a long time. I got to know L'Atzúbia during earlier visits to Spain. I fell for the atmosphere here, and the surrounding routes drew me in so much that I stayed for good.

CasaCiclista is a cosy guesthouse where I would like to stay myself: a comfortable bed, a proper place for your bikes and someone who knows the local roads. I'll help you plan routes, pick you up from the airport and gladly tell you where to stop for a coffee and a slice of cake.

Surroundings

Mountains, passes
and the sea

L'Atzúbia lies where the Vall de Gallinera valley opens towards the coast. Beautiful mountain roads lead in every direction, and the sea is about 12 km away. The area around Dénia and Calpe is a favourite spot for winter training camps of professional teams and, for amateurs, one of the best destinations for a cycling camp in Spain.
